Head shot of Tom Haward - Tom Haward
Tom is a film graduate from the University of Essex. Studying film in depth has meant he is able to see films for what they are - art. It's important to review films understanding that liking a film does not make it good as does disliking a film not make it bad.
Tom has experience as an editor for a local newspaper, where he regularly reviewed new films, as well as writing up on local issues to do with faith, film and food.
A BBC competition looking for new writing talent shortlisted Tom's work down to the final 10% of entries from a large number submitted.
